Vent — Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi 2026

Finally installed after a fairly substantial few days putting it together on site.

Nine columns of cold-laminated recycled float glass, built up from individual 410 × 410 mm glass modules. The columns range from 1.6 to 2.4 metres high across a roughly 4 × 4 metre footprint.

I’ve worked with this material for a long time, but I still like the way it changes completely with the light — sometimes dense and almost solid, sometimes transparent.
