Brooks High School commission under way
Fabrication has started on a commissioned work for Brooks High School in Launceston, under the Tasmanian Government’s Art Site Scheme. The work, titled “Tree Flower”, is based on the premise of an old tree that was once standing in the grounds of the high school and has since been removed.

Awarded Montalto Sculpture Prize
‘Pointing Girl’ was awarded the Montalto Sculpture Prize for 2015 last month.Thank you to the judges, Montalto Winery owners, John and Wendy Mitchell, the artistic director, Neil Williams and all the artists represented in the exhibition. A special thank you to Ben Fasham from J K Fasham for installing the work.

Stack – relocated and cleaned
‘Stack’ was relocated from Toorak to Mornington recently. It was given a thorough cleaning before it was re-installed. The work was acquired in 2001 after the inaugural Helen Lempriere National Sculpture Award by a Victorian collector.

Installation for Western BACE completed
The installation of a commissioned piece for the Melton City Council’s Western BACE (Business Accelerator and Centre for Excellence) was completed on 29 October. A big thank you to Tony and Ben from J.K. Fasham for their assistance.
